Dear Friends and Loved Ones,
As you may know, my family and I have been deeply affected by pancreatic cancer. It is the 4th leading cause of cancer deaths in men and women in the U.S. and it is time to find a cure. The five-year survival rate for pancreatic cancer is less than five percent – a fact that has not changed in 30 years despite improved survival rates for many other cancers?
My family and I will be joining forces again this year and will be participating in the Lustgarten Foundation Pancreatic Cancer Walk at Old Westbury Gardens on Sunday, July 29. We learned that research is our best weapon in the fight against pancreatic cancer and I am asking you to help in our cause.
If you could, my family and I would greatly appreciate any donation you can give. We are hoping to raise a team total of $5000, which includes my individual goal of $1000. With your donation, we can be well on our way to our goal.
The time has come to ensure that pancreatic cancer patients have a fighting chance.
