As you may know, earlier this year my mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The statistics connected with this disease are staggering. Nevertheless, we are filled with hope that my mother will survive this. My family has decided to walk this weekend in support and in honor of my mother and the courage and grace with which she is fighting this disease.

I hope you will think about joining us on Sunday or donating money to this organization which provides funds for research, our best weapon in the fight against pancreatic cancer.
