A Night on The River
On Thursday July 26th, over 500 young professionals gathered for A Night on the River, a charity event in support of pancreatic cancer research to benefit The Lustgarten Foundation. The event took place at the Beekman Beer Garden Beach Club, an outdoor venue in the South Street Seaport with a phenomenal view near the Brooklyn Bridge. On Thursday, the weather forecast looked particularly ominous, and guests braved torrential rain to attend. Soon after, however, the rain had subsided and the party was in full swing. Attendees enjoyed a warm welcome from Kerri Kaplan, Executive Director of the Lustgarten Foundation; a busy open bar, DJ and dancing; and the scenic venue was packed full. The benefit raised over $65,000 a huge success for a first-year event-and A Night on the River is well on its way to becoming an annual occurrence.
