As you may know, my family and I have been deeply affected by pancreatic cancer. However, did you know that the five-year survival rate for pancreatic cancer is less than five percent – a fact that has not changed in 30 years despite improved survival rates for many other cancers?

Research is our best weapon in the fight against pancreatic cancer. Research follows dollars, and for too long, funding for pancreatic cancer research was virtually nonexistent.

The time has come to ensure that pancreatic cancer patients have a fighting chance.
