In October 2007, our family was suprised when we learned that my grandma Dody had Pancreatic Cancer. She was wonderful, active and healthy, and at that time we didn't realize how fast the disease would take her away. In February 2008 she sadly lost her fight with cancer.
There have been so many times this year that I’ve been sad. If we had known sooner she would have had a better chance to fight it. Since there aren’t good ways to test right now it is hard to find out soon enough if you have that someone important to you has Pancreatic Cancer.
