Fashion 4 the Cure Raises Nearly $150,000 for Pancreatic Cancer Research
Congratulations to Co-Chairs Becky Broxmeyer and Sophie Fritz for their determination and dedication in the planning and development of Fashion 4 the Cure. This fabulous event was an outstanding success and raised $150,000 for pancreatic cancer research!
Becky and Sophie took their love of fashion and turned it into a meaningful tribute and fun way to honor their loved ones who lost their battles with pancreatic cancer. Fashion 4 the Cure, held on April 6, was attended by 300 guests who enjoyed a delicious cocktail reception followed by a spectacular fashion show.
Becky and Sophie received an outpouring of support from local organizations, family, and friends. Top Sponsors included Christina Makowski, Top Shop, Lawrence Scott Events, More than Music and Fusion Lighting, and Engineers Country Club. Good friends were recruited to serve as committee members and models.
It has been an honor for the staff of The Lustgarten Foundation to work closely with two such committed volunteers. We look forward to the 2012 Fashion 4 the Cure and once again working with Becky and Sophie.
