Grand Gourmet Raises $200,000 for Research

Thanks to the more than 200 guests who attended Grand Gourmet 2010. The event featured tastings of signature dishes from prominent Long Island-based restaurants and wineries, as well as our legendary silent auction and grand prize raffle.
This year’s event recognized the life of legendary 60 Minutes producer, Don Hewitt, who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in 2009. The Lustgarten Foundation was honored to welcome his wife, Marilyn Berger Hewitt, as special guest for the evening. In addition to her attendance at the event, Ms. Hewitt will appear in a new public service announcement on behalf of the curePC public awareness campaign. The Lustgarten Foundation is privileged to have Marilyn Berger Hewitt as a partner in the fight against pancreatic cancer.

Guests enjoyed fabulous food and wine while 'Bruce in the USA' rocked the night away. Tiffany & Co. provided a special gift for all guests. More than $200,000 was raised for research!

The Lustgarten Foundation extends warm thanks to special guest, Mrs. Marilyn Hewitt, and Co-Chairs, Melissa and Len Novick, Stu Lubow, Kal Dolgin and Neil Dolgin.
