Please join me in a cause close to my heart.

As you may know, I have been deeply affected by pancreatic cancer. My mom's best friend Cindy was diagnosed with this disease and died at a very young age. She had three kids around my age that didn't get to know her that well. Every year since she died my family & I participate in the Lustgarten Foundation Pancreatic Cancer Walk in New York. We celebrate Cindy and hope to help many other families.

This year I decided to do more to support The Lustgarten Foundation. I volunteered at the New York Walk and will be assisting with the setup, and registration. I am also raising awareness in my community by selling bracelets and handing out informative pamphlets. I created this web page to raise additional funds and every dollar raised will go to research in hope for a cure.

Pancreatic cancer is the nation’s fourth leading cancer killer. Worse yet, unless it is found early when it can be surgically removed, there is no cure. Yet, there are no tests to find it early. How can this be?

Only ten years ago, less than a dozen researchers were focused on pancreatic cancer. There simply wasn't enough funding available to support a career in the study of this disease. As a result, pancreatic cancer was virtually ignored, and with startling consequences to patients, their families and loved ones.
