According to recent reports, advances in cancer treatment are reducing overall cancer death rates. Yet, the survival rate for pancreatic cancer has not changed in 25 years.
My loving brother Richie Lee Brown who was diagnosed with PC 18 months before his death on July 15, 2009. He is survived by his 2 children, Roger, 5, Joshua, 4 and wife Rebbecca. As I am writing this today I can't still believe what happened. There is a day that doesn't go by that I do not think about him. This all taught us a valuable lesson in life. That it is to short and the good do die young. You don't realize it until a tragic event happens. Life moves on but the memory lives forever.
People told me all sought of things but I will never forget this saying "we are the one who suffers the most". This is true.
