PancreasFest 2013

PancreasFest runs each year during the last Thursday-Friday of July. The primary purpose of PancreasFest is to provide ample time and space for dedicated physician-scientists to meet and discuss new technical advances, therapies and opportunities for clinical and translational research in human pancreatic diseases. These goals are accomplished through continuing education (CME) programs, Investigators Meetings, Working Group meetings and small private meetings. Young investigators and trainees are specifically invited, mentored and equipped through the annual meeting of the Collaborative Alliance for Pancreatic Education and Research (CAPER).

The Collaborative Alliance for Pancreatic Education and Research (CAPER) represents the ”the next generation” of academic pancreatologists, therapeutic endoscopists, pancreatic surgeons, radiologists, oncologists and translational researchers who are dedicated to advancing the early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of pancreatic diseases through participation in cooperative, multi-center research trials. The Annual CAPER meeting is held in July during PancreasFest.
