Our mom, Bunny Koppelman lost her valiant battle with pancreatic cancer on July 8, 2008. She was warm, feisty, outspoken, beautiful, loving beyond belief and far too young to die at 65 years old.
We are participating in this year's Walk on July 26 in our mom's honor. Please join our Walk Team! Here's how: Click the "Join Our Team" button on the top right corner, read the instructions, and then click on "Register Here" at the bottom. Please enter all of your contact information, agree to the waiver and click "Next". Please then select "Join an Existing Team" and enter your individual goal and click "Next". Search for team "Bunny Koppelman" and select "Join". You are now at your dashboard where you can manage and design your personal fundraising page.
If you can't make the Walk, please make a donation to our team. EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS AND NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL. And you can donate anonymously if you choose. Even if you give anonymously, we will still know that you donated, just not the donation amount. The Lustgarten Foundation will provide us with a report of names of anonymous donors, without the amounts of the donation. It's not about how much you give, but about getting everyone we know to join us in the fight. Please give what you can!
We must work to find a cure for this disease. I know our mother would want that - to spare anyone else the pain she had and other families this tremendous loss.
