Distinguished Scholars

The Distinguished Scholars program supports world-class scientists, who are at the top in their field, and are at the forefront of today's most exciting breakthroughs in pancreatic cancer research. Selected by the Lustgarten Foundation's Scientific Advisory Board (SAB), each grantee receives $5 million in funding over five years, enabling these scientists to puruse high-risk, high-reward science, dedicate more of their time and focus to pancreatic cancer research, and accelerate a path to a cure.

Application status:The Distinguished Scholar Award is given on a discretionary basis and is not part of our annual grant program.

NEW Translational Clinical Program

Driving Clinical Collaborations to Improve Patient Outcomes

The goal of this program is to identify and fund new, innovative multi-institutional translational research projects that will significantly impact early diagnosis, increase surgical intervention, improve therapies, identify personalized medicine approches, and ultimately find a cure for pancreatic cancer.

Research Investigator Awards Program

Funding Breakthrough Research into Pancreatic Cancer
 
The goal of this program is to identify and fund individual projects that are focused on the science underlying pancreatic cancer. These projects will impact translational and clinical programs in early diagnosis,and the development of new treatments, ultimately leading to a cure for pancreatic cancer.
