Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month

November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month!

Join us all month long as we share information and awareness activities across our social media platforms and work together to increase awareness of pancreatic cancer. Generating awareness is critical to raising vital funds for research – research that will lead to more treatment options for patients. The Lustgarten Foundation is working tirelessly to improve patients’ outcomes by funding the most promising research on early detection, new treatments and personalized medicine. We have made great strides, but with your support this month, we can accomplish even more!

Niagara Falls turns purple for pancreatic cancer awareness day.

This year, World Pancreatic Cancer Day is on Thursday, November 21st. It’s a day where people and organizations from around the world unite to bring global attention to this devastating disease. We encourage you to join us in this initiative by wearing purple and sharing a photo on your social media platforms with the hashtag #WPCD and #worldpancreaticcancerday.

UINCUTRE FamilyWe hope you will join us and participate in awareness activities throughout November. There are many ways to get involved with our initiatives…or it could be a good time to create your own. However you decide to get involved, keep us in the loop by using our handle @Lustgartenfdn in your posts, so we can see what you’re up to.

How can you get involved?

It’s easy. Here are a few simple things you can do during Awareness Month:

Follow the Foundation on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn for inspirational new content each day during the month. We would also love to see your own awareness activities on social media. Share how you, your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers are raising awareness during the month and use the hashtags #pancreaticcancer, #WPCD, #pcam19, and #LustgartenFoundation.

With the goal of raising additional research funds and awareness during November, the campaign focuses on you—the survivor, patient, family, friend, donor, fundraiser or supporter—and the call to action is simple: tell us how you put the YOU in CURE, then invite others to join you. The success of our new campaign is dependent upon your participation, so visit our FUNDRAISE YOUR WAY page and commit to getting involved. Then jump into the conversation on social media by tagging @Lustgartenfdn in your posts and tell us how you #PutTheUinCURE.
