The Lustgarten Foundation Funds Breakthrough Studies in Pancreatic Cancer Genetic Research
Studies funded by The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research unveiled two major breakthroughs this month in sporadic and familial pancreatic cancer research. The studies were conducted by the University of Michigan and The Sol Goldman Pancreatic Cancer Research Center at Johns Hopkins University on the genomics of pancreatic cancer and have the potential to uncover better therapies, early intervention, screening tests, and treatment options for pancreatic cancer.
